We think it’s fair to say that Amir Khan is annoyed he doesn’t get to fight Kell Brook.
The Olympic silver medallist has been gunning for Brook’s IBF welterweight belt for some time now, but he’ll have to wait a bit longer now after Brook announced his next opponent would be Canadian Kevin Bizier.
Khan has not taken the news well, and decided to share his thoughts on the fight with his Twitter followers.
Will be letting the truth out later today, stay tuned #TeamKhan

First he stood up against accusations that his ‘middle men’ were getting in the way of big fights with the likes of Manny Pacquiao, saying he was willing to fight anyone but he was passed over for other options.
That’s not too unusual, but it’s the rant against Brook which caught our attention, as he called out Sheffield native Brook on his failure to challenge himself against
And now to Kell Brook.. Eddie Hearn is cool i had a good chat with him at the Smith fight in Liverpool and negotiations started before xmas

I want it, Eddie wants it, Sky want it, all the fans want it, but then Kell decides to fight Kevin Bizier who's lost to Jo Jo Dan twice! 😳

Never known of a world champion to have 3 bum defences back to back, make that 4 if you include Diego Ch😂ves, at least fight some1 in top 10

Khan then staked his claim as the number one challenger in the division.
Mandatories can step aside happens all the time, i was mandatory to Floyd for 2 years with Wbc..
— Amir Khan (@amirkingkhan) January 22, 2016
Ive been Wbc number 1 for 2 years its about time i got my opportunity to avenge that loss. Brook fight could still happen this year but..
— Amir Khan (@amirkingkhan) January 22, 2016
Brook wants 50/50 split with me, Wake up son and smell the coffee! be realistic and make it happen, even Eddie told you your not worth that!
— Amir Khan (@amirkingkhan) January 22, 2016
Khan clearly isn’t impressed with the fighters he’s been overlooked for…
Seriously guys Imagine if i fought Jo Jo Gallagher, Gavin and Bizier? Id rather retire, i want the big fights and will continue to do so
— Amir Khan (@amirkingkhan) January 22, 2016
But hints that he’s used to the disappointment by now…
Got let down by Floyd 3 times then Pacquiao but plenty big fights out there including Brook, Garcia and some other huge fights too 😉
