Amir Khan calls out Floyd Mayweather – again

Khan scored unanimous points win over Devon Alexander

Amir Khan has again called for a 2015 superfight against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

And the English welterweight may never have a better case after his demolition of Devon Alexander in Las Vegas last night.

The 2004 Olympic silver medallist scored a unanimous points decision over the American, dominating from start to finish.

Now he says the big-money fight he has been chasing with Mayweather should happen by the middle of next year.

‘I now believe I have earned the Mayweather fight for next year,’ Khan said.

‘Stylistically, I think that Mayweather does not want me because I have that style which causes him big problems. But it’s up to Mayweather now. The ball is in his court. I’ll leave it to my team and him to get that fight done.’
