Old Trafford is getting a new lick of paint.
If you don’t want to read a piece about the reaction to Old Trafford getting painted, click away now. We’re not trying to pull the wool over your eyes. This article will do exactly as it says on the tin.
You see, moaning is a big part of being a football fan. When there’s no actual football on, they have to keep themselves entertained somehow. Usually, gossip and transfer rumours will fill this hole in between matches. However, sometimes the only thing the discussion requires to get going is a stadium getting painted.
Case in point, Old Trafford. To the Liam Lowe’s credit, he managed to perfectly capture how mundane the scene is. An overcast sky coupled with a lot of metal and concrete. There isn’t a hope in hell of this making it on the front of a postcard.

Snark week
Football fans are bored. So the news that Manchester United’s ground is being painted was enough to keep them occupied for a bit. Mostly by cracking wise.
Cue the Richard Keys b*nter vine.
Back to watching paint dry at Old Trafford 😀

Apparently, the fact that they left this task so late is a sign of how poorly the club is being run.
Yes, we’re still talking about the paint.
So they’ve had since May to paint the place but decide to start 10 days before the season starts? Tells you everything you need to know about how the club is being run

At least Utd’s ground has a better name than that of Spurs.
Great to see Glazers responding to Tottenham’s £850m stadium buying 5 tins of Ronseal weatherproof exterior paint

You can’t attract a bog roll sponsor if the paint is faded

Time for an upgrade?
If Barcelona can unveil a really good looking stadium plan for the future, surely united could do same. I love old Trafford but I do think it needs a face lift as a minimum

Don’t worry, the season will start soon.
